What's A "Day of Action"?

Although lending your name to this list of supporters may be enough for many of the people who'd like to support better access and options for Canada's medical cannabis community, we would also like to offer you the chance to ensure that the federal government hears the voice of critically and chronically ill Canadians and those who support the right of all Canadians make fundamental decisions in regards to their health and well-being.

Compassionate Canadians is currently planning a "Day of Action", during which we hope to inundate Health Canada, the Minister of Health and the Minister of Justice with as many emails, faxes, phone calls and letters as possible, so that we can ensure that the sick and suffering medical cannabis users who need our help and support have as strong a voice as possible. If you chose to participate in the Day of Action (by checking the box that says "yes, I'd like to join the Day of Action" on the pledge page, we will contact you by email with more information on this innovative new approach to social protest, and hope that you'll join us and thousands of other Canadians by contacting Health Canada from your home or office.
